This is the final episode of the 40 Days of Prayer series and man have we learned a lot about prayer! Today we learn about unanswered prayer. As you will hear, all prayer is answered in one of 4 ways. 

God says ...

• No - I won't do what you ask because he knows what's best for us!
• Grow - I need for you to mature a little bit before I answer that prayer. 
• Slow - which means "wait" now is not the time. And, God's timing is always perfect!
• Go - this is the answer we always want ... YES!

This is our 6th week in Rick Warren's 40 Days of Prayer and we are going to learn the pattern for praying in a crisis from Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles 20 when 3 vast armies attacked the Israelites and Jehoshaphat had only 2 days warning! Talking about a crisis!

To summarize his prayer he basically said to God ... "I know who you are, I know what you have said, I know what you have done, I know what you have promised and I know you will do it again"!

Talk about trusting and depending on God! That is the model we want and need to utilize when our marriage, kids, family, health, finances or anything else is in a crisis!
